Optimised design for energy chain use
- High tensile strength centre element
to stabilise the stranding bond inside the cable and thus prevent corkscrew and core breaks.
2. Optimised copper strand
To prevent core breaks and thus ensure a long service life with continuous movement even with a small bend radius in the energy chain.
3. Core insulation
Only the highest quality, high-pressure extruded PVC or TPE materials are used, which have proven themselves in millions of kilometres of cores in energy chain applications.
4.Cores wound in bundles
Strengthening of the core stranding structure, relief of the core in the radius due to lower tensile-compressive stress and thus avoidance of corkscrew and core breaks.
5. Gusset-filling extruded inner jacket
Support of the stranded connection from the outside and thus avoidance of corkscrew and core breaks.
6. Overall shield with optimised shield braiding
Prevents shield breakage and thus significantly increases or ensures the electromagnetic compatibility specification of a cable.
7. Highly abrasion-resistant, pressure extruded outer jacket
Support of the braided shield, less abrasion in the energy chain and therefore demonstrably longer service life even in high dynamic applications.
Tested
All chainflex® cables have been tested for durability in our 2,750m2 test laboratory. This also enables us to provide you with information on the service life of a cable in your application. Ask us or use our service life calculator on the Internet.
