Adjustable radial play
The "Turn-To-Fit" function enables individual play adjustment by hand. The adjustment is made in 0.01 mm increments and cannot come loose unintentionally during operation (SLW series 10-20).

pretension
The optional axial pretension reduces the backlash of the system. Positioning and repetition accuracy can be optimised. The required drive torque increases only slightly.

Right-left and reverse rotation
In addition to the standard right-hand spindle, a left-hand thread or reverse spindle can also be used. This variant, which is often used in format adjustments, can be realised for all diameters and series

Shaft materials
When using linear axes from the SHTseries, you can choose between the shaft materials steel, stainless steel or hard-anodised aluminium (standard). the short delivery time and best friction and wear values make the aluminium version the most widely used standard.

Spindle materials trapezoidal thread
Steel and stainless steel versions of the trapezoidal thread spindles are available. Solutions with hard-coated aluminium spindles are also available on request. high helix lead screws and metric threaded rods are always made of stainless steel. The spindle ends are tapered up to a spindle diameter of 14 mm. Spigots or special machining can be applied on request.

Steep thread spindle materials
All high helix lead screws are made of stainless steel. Compared to the trapezoidal thread, the steep thread has a significantly higher pitch. This means that higher travel speeds are possible, but with a higher drive torque compared to the trapezoidal thread. Available diameters and pitches: 8 x 15, 10 x 12, 10 x 50, 18 x 100.
