With the new Multicable e-spool®, up to two cables can be unwound without a slip ring. The SPMC1.* is a spring-driven cable drum. Compact, space-saving, lightweight. Available in two sizes: for 2 m and 7 m extension length.

All igus® e-spool® spring cable reels consist of an energy chain, which is guided by a reel and ensures exactly the right length and tension of the energy supply at all times thanks to an integrated retaining spring. And a twisterband is responsible for the rotary movements. This special design makes it possible to move in any direction. Thanks to the use of the twisterband, the e-spool® does not require a slip ring. This enables high data transmission reliability and great stability. In addition, the e-spool® can be guided in all directions (horizontally, vertically, diagonally) and space-saving, as the energy chain is rolled up in the starting position, leaving the paths free.
