After the DIRETTISSIMA, which is one of the strongest brakes in the world, Trickstuff wanted to complete the list of superlatives: The world's lightest hydraulic brake, the PICCOLA, weighing just 158 grams, was to be added to the portfolio - and now it is. No compromises were accepted - no compromises in terms of braking power, reliability, quality and value.

As far as the functions of a brake are concerned, the aspect of modulation is one of the most important. A very short master piston made of precision CNC-machined iglidur® J material works at the core of the lever mechanism. The material is characterised by its good pressure stability, very low wear, its low weight and an extremely low coefficient of friction in the housing, which is essential in terms of slip-stick-free metering.
