Traversers with readymade energy supply

Transfer cars connect tracks in factory buildings and in the open air in order to move wagons, driving trailers and locomotives. While the transfer table is in motion, a safe power supply must be guaranteed at all times, e.g. with signalling lamps or a control panel. Chainflex cables are used to ensure that the transfer table continues to function despite frequent use. These cables are specially developed for moving applications and high loads. Energy chains from igus are used to ensure that the cables are safely guided when the transfer table is moved. They also increase the service life of the cables. Both the cables and e-chains can be used with small bend radii and can therefore be installed in a particularly space-saving manner.

The plastic energy chains and chainflex cables can easily withstand weather and dirt. They can also be used without hesitation for long travel distances or unsupported loads. With readycable, igus also offers completely pre-assembled e-chains with cables and connectors that can be fitted directly to the transfer table.
