Rotary knobs with frictionless bearings
Rotary knobs on coffee machines are easy to implement with ball bearings. Simple, smooth adjustment is just as important here as absolute lubrication-free and maintenance-free bearings. Corrosion-resistant products also prevent premature wear.

Beans transported lubrication-free
Transporting coffee beans to the grinder requires gears. Lubrication-free components are especially important in the immediate vicinity of the coffee beans. But low wear and long service life also play a role here.

Corrosion-free spout design
Linear bearings are used in coffee machines, for example when lowering the spout to dispense the coffee or when pulling the machine head out for maintenance purposes. Infinitely adjustable, maintenance-free, lubrication-free and corrosion-resistant, guidance systems extend the service life of the machine.

Hygienic in the brewing unit
The coffee is made using a lead screw that presses hot water through the coffee powder at high pressure. Since the lead screw and nut are in contact with liquids, they must be completely lubrication-free and hygienic. In addition, there must be no corrosion.

Powerful in the grinder
The grinder generates high forces when it grinds beans into fine powder. The grindstones are guided by plain bearings designed for high forces. And the contamination caused by coffee powder makes dirt resistance and freedom from lubrication necessary.

Food-compliant in the brewing unit
Components involved in the brewing process must comply with hygiene and food conformity standards. Plain bearings made from the special material iglidur A181 are therefore compliant with FDA regulations and EU10/2011.
