The vending machine from T&D Erler personalises (promotional) gifts in no time at all. With just a few clicks, names can be engraved on pieces of wood. The process takes place in a visible vending machine. Being able to watch the process gives the customer a fundamentally different shopping experience.

The problem

Inside the rather compact vending machine, a flexible robot arm is required, which has to move to several stations in a confined space. 
In addition, the two factors "cost of acquisition of the robot" and "maintenance effort" are decisive for the economic implementation of the project.


 

The solution

A robolink RL-DP in connection with a gripper. This takes the raw materials and feeds them to the appropriate process steps. The fixed process creates an efficient purchasing process.
