The e-chains® with extender crossbars have been specifically developed for applications where a hose needs to be guided gently. Using extender crossbars instead of crossbars enlarges the interior of energy chains considerably so that even large suction hoses can be guided safely. The filling space can be further subdivided with the product range of special cable-protecting elements for interior separation, so that it is possible to assemble cables and hoses according to your requirements from the modular system.

e-chains® with extender crossbars in wood and sandwich processing

igus e-chain® with extender crossbars is used as the ideal guide for suction hoses in Westphal Maschinenbau's CNC machining centre. The e-chain® with extender crossbars reliably separates the large, relatively fragile hoses on one side of the energy supply system from the pneumatic hoses and energy cables on the other side. It guides large hose diameters - in this case 250mm - with minimal use of material and therefore very low weight.
